Major tour operators are also seeing strong demand. TUI ranks Greece as its second most-booked destination, just after Spain. Overall, summer bookings are up 8%, showing solid interest from key markets.
Greece Among the Top 10 Global Travel Destinations
Greece’s global popularity continues to rise. It’s listed among the top 10 summer destinations by the German Travel Association (DRV), alongside Spain, Italy, Turkey, and others. From May to October, bookings are already up 12%, with some tour companies like Alltours reporting a 10% increase for Greece specifically.
