Greece’s tourism sector is off to a strong start in 2025, with early data showing a 4.4% rise in tourism revenue during the first quarter—reaching 1 billion euros. This boost came mainly from an 8.5% jump in spending by non-EU visitors, while total tourist arrivals grew by 5.4% to 2.46 million. These gains build on a solid 2024, when Greece hosted over 40 million tourists.
